BECOME A FOUNDING SPONSOR!
Help us cultivate a strong foundation as we establish a physical space dedicated to trauma-informed and grief-informed care and design. Our goal is to create an accessible and supportive environment that addresses a variety of physical, emotional, and spiritual needs for those navigating grief.
We aim to support people through one of life’s most profound and complex emotional experiences—grief—by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can feel, heal, and process. As The Grief Room continues to grow and expand its offerings into physical space, we are seeking like-minded partners who share our commitment to honoring space for emotional expression, education, and healing.
We would love to invite you to consider becoming a sponsor or donor, supporting the important work we do while also gaining visibility among our compassionate, engaged community.
-
Becoming a sponsor of The Grief Room is an opportunity to align your business or organization with a deeply meaningful cause, while promoting your services or products in a setting that encourages healing, care, and emotional support.
Your sponsorship will support our work in not only providing a sanctuary for grief but also expanding our grief literacy initiatives. We aim to break the stigma around grief, normalize it as a natural part of life, and equip individuals with the tools they need to heal in healthy, mindful ways.
-
Your sponsorship or donation will directly fund the continued design and enhancement of The Grief Room, ensuring it remains a safe and nurturing environment for those in need. Funds will be allocated toward:
Designing and Furnishing the Space: Creating a peaceful atmosphere with comfortable furniture and soothing decor.
Providing Materials for Engagement: Art supplies, journals, books, and other therapeutic tools to support creative and emotional processing for the mind, body, and spirit.
Offering Free or Reduced Rates for Grief Support: A portion of funds will support offering subsidized or free services to individuals from disenfranchised communities, including those who face economic hardship, systemic barriers, or other challenges that may prevent them from accessing grief support. We are committed to ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent anyone from receiving the emotional healing they need.
Ongoing Enhancements and Community Offerings: Improving the space and developing new grief literacy resources and community offerings.
With your support, we can create a more powerful and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors, offering them the emotional support container and creative outlets they need to navigate and honor their grief.

We understand that locating The Grief Room may be a bit challenging at first, as it is nestled within a storefront shared by other businesses. This is intentional. The quiet, somewhat hidden entrance reflects the nature of grief itself—often a private, personal journey that requires a space where one can retreat, reflect, and heal without the weight of external attention. Just as grief can feel like an invisible burden, our design allows for an experience of seclusion, offering individuals the privacy and comfort they need as they engage with their emotions in solitude.
However, we also deeply acknowledge the importance of community and the visibility of grief, especially when you are ready to connect. While The Grief Room provides a sanctuary of privacy, we recognize that part of the healing process is learning to share your grief with others—whether through community events, group workshops, or simply knowing that you are not alone in your journey.
We want to honor both the need for quiet, personal space as well as the vulnerability and strength that comes with grieving in community when you feel ready. Our location is a blend of these two intentions: a private refuge for your grief, with an open invitation to connect, share, and heal alongside others when the time feels right.
When you arrive, you’ll receive clear instructions on how to find the entrance, and we will ensure that your experience is welcoming, supportive, and aligned with your unique needs. This tucked-away space is designed to help you feel safe in your grief, however it presents itself—and to offer connection when you feel ready to share that journey with others.

Our full kitchen is available for you to use to prepare meals not only for your own healing, but also for others—whether a loved one, a friend, or a community member who is walking through their own journey of grief.
Cooking for someone during their time of loss can be a deeply meaningful act. In this sacred space, you are invited to take the time to care for others, and in doing so, also care for yourself.
Please note: All ingredients will need to be brought in, as we do not provide raw ingredients or supplies. Additionally, we ask that you clean up after yourself to maintain the space for others. For safety and liability reasons, we do not provide knives or sharp utensils, so please bring your own if you plan to do any cutting or chopping.
Whether you are preparing a meal to share, or simply wish to create a comforting dish, the kitchen offers a nurturing environment to support both your own healing process and the act of caring for others. This is a space where food becomes not just nourishment, but a gesture of love, connection, and support.
