Meet Jenna Block!

Jenna identifies as a straight, cisgender woman who uses she/her pronouns. She embraces her imperfection across various roles, including those of a mother, partner, therapist, coach, creative, caretaker, and intuitive empath, among others.

Jenna Block, MSW, LICSW (she/her) holds a profound belief in the intrinsic wisdom and healing capabilities inherent in our mind, body, and spirit. As a Board Approved Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor recognized by the MN Board of Social Work, as well as a Reiki Practitioner, she is equipped to support individuals in their personal journeys. Jenna’s therapy and coaching practice focuses on nurturing a loving relationship with oneself—body, mind, and spirit. Whether in one-on-one sessions or within a community setting, her approach encourages clients to reconnect with their inner light.

Identifying as a somatic practitioner, Jenna recognizes that our bodies serve as messengers for past and present experiences. She assists clients in deciphering the messages their bodies convey, which often facilitates a shift towards a more embodied way of living. Many of her clients have transitioned from predominantly intellectual engagement to actively harnessing the innate healing wisdom that lies within their bodies.

“We are born with inner guidance and light within, we forget and lose touch, and then we remember, again. Through connection with self and others, a transformation can begin. You will begin a healing journey of acceptance, vulnerability, and rebirth. Fears are transformed into moments of love.”

Jenna is deeply interested professionally and personally about the journey of learning to caretake one’s inner child self (often termed reparenting), process traumas from childhood, unearth old patterns of beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors, and the journey of parenthood and the passage of bringing a life into this world and/or growing your family.

Through her own experiences with spiritual awakening with birth and postpartum anxiety, trauma, and recovery, she knows that the moments of this path are not linear and do not look the same for every self-identified mother, birthing person, partner, and/or parent.

Through Jenna’s own healing journey, she has developed a deep understanding for our bodies innate healing wisdom that the patterns of stress and trauma within our nervous systems. Jenna pulls from her trainings in somatic interventions, polyvagal theory, internal family systems (ifs), breathwork, and Reiki to provide a sacred healing container for her clients.

“Every feeling you explore during this time is a part of your unfolding journey and these are not something that need fixing but rather an invitation to hold space for them and explore. Stepping into the discomfort that can arise while embracing your feelings will allow for you to connect deeper to your inner landscape and self as a spiritual being.”
